Camping

We have a lovely walled garden for camping or wild camp in our beautiful secluded valley. Campers have access to shower room and toilet in the Farmhouse. Hook ups available for campers/caravans. Fire pit and logs available on site. NEW - Two fully furnished Bell Tents with real beds and electric hook up.

Wild Swimming

We have a beautiful, private swimming lake for the use of our guests and day visitors. Please contact us to book or to discuss availability.

Star Gazing

NOW AWARDED" DARK SKY FRIENDLY" AND “DARK SKIES STAY & GAZE” STATUS FROM NORTHUMBERLAND TOURISM. ......borrow a blanket, a thermos of hot chocolate and our binoculars and gaze at the wonderful stars from our back door. Did you know 90% of people in the UK cant see the Milky Way due to light pollution – you can from Ravenscleugh. Walking

Close to St Oswalds Way the farm is criss- crossed with bridleways and footpaths including The Sandstone Way, The Reivers Way, Northern Cross Way, Lakes to Lindisfarne, Alternative Coast to Coast & The Great English Walk. Around the farm you are welcome to discover our hidden lakes and secluded valleys. We are happy to lend you maps and help you plan your walks during your stay.

Cycling & Backpacking - We are mud friendly

Both The Sandstone Way and Pennine Cycle Way 68 cross the farm. The farm is an ideal stop between Bellingham and Rothbury along the Sandstone Way. We have secure storage for bicycles with a tool kit available for small repairs. We are mud friendly!

Horse Riding

Limitless riding is accessible from Ravenscleugh. We have stabling and paddocks available for your use. Please do contact us to have a chat about your holiday ideas.

Food and Drink

We are happy to cook you a delicious evening meal using locally sourced produce where possible and can also suggest local places to eat. Please see links. Catering is available including dinner parties and picnics. Enjoy the craic in our local village pubs.
